Pet industry professionals and dogs at SuperZoo 2026 in Las Vegas.

What SuperZoo Means for the Future of Pet Care

For Pet Therapeutics, SuperZoo is more than a trade show. It’s an opportunity to listen, learn, and bring what we hear back into the products we create for pets and the people who care for them.

SuperZoo took place August 12–14 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, bringing together more than 1,100 exhibitors and 22,000 pet industry professionals across a 350,000-plus-square-foot show floor. The event also featured more than 1,000 product debuts, education sessions, and opportunities for retailers, manufacturers, and other professionals to connect.

For us, though, the most valuable part of SuperZoo happens between the booths and presentations. It’s the chance to meet people face to face.

Why Do In-Person Conversations Matter?

  • Direct feedback can reveal what customers actually need.
  • Meeting industry professionals creates opportunities to exchange ideas.
  • Conversations at events can lead to better questions about products and pet care.

There is a difference between reading an email from a customer and standing across from that person talking about what they see every day.

At SuperZoo, we get to hear directly from the people working in the pet industry. We hear what is working, where there are challenges, and what they would like to see improved.

That kind of feedback is invaluable.

It gives us a better understanding of the businesses using our products and the pets relying on them. Just as importantly, it helps us think differently about what we should be developing next.

What Can a Trade Show Tell Us About Where the Industry Is Going?

  • New products offer a look at where the market is heading.
  • Emerging brands bring fresh ideas and different approaches.
  • Education and networking create opportunities to learn from people outside our own businesses.

SuperZoo’s New Product Showcase is designed to give attendees a first look at new products and emerging trends. The 2026 showcase featured new-to-market products across categories ranging from dog products and grooming and wellness to smart technology and enrichment.

That kind of variety is valuable because innovation doesn’t always come from one corner of the industry.

Seeing what other companies are developing, hearing how professionals are responding to new ideas, and watching the kinds of products gaining attention can all help shape the way we think about our own work.

For Pet Therapeutics, that means keeping our focus on what matters most: creating products that help improve the experience for pets while supporting the people and businesses responsible for their care.

How Does Customer Feedback Shape Product Development?

  • Feedback helps identify opportunities to improve existing products.
  • Real-world experience can influence new product ideas.
  • Listening closely helps us stay focused on the needs of professional pet care environments.

One of the biggest takeaways from SuperZoo is that product development doesn’t happen in isolation. A product may look great on a screen or work well in testing, but the people using it every day can tell you things you won’t discover anywhere else.

That is why candid feedback matters so much.

The conversations we had at SuperZoo are already helping inform what comes next for Pet Therapeutics. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be introducing a series of product improvements and new additions designed to deliver better comfort and support our mission of reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets.

What Comes Next for Pet Therapeutics?

  • Product improvements will build on what we’ve learned from the industry.
  • New additions will continue our focus on comfort and animal well-being.
  • Customer feedback will remain an important part of how we develop and refine our products.

SuperZoo may only last a few days, but the work that comes out of those few days can continue for much longer.

The ideas we hear, the products we see, and the feedback we receive all become part of the process. We take those insights back with us and ask how they can make our products more useful, more comfortable, and better suited to the realities of professional pet care.

That is what makes attending events like SuperZoo worthwhile. The goal isn’t simply to see what’s new. It’s to understand what the industry needs next.

Why Does That Matter for Pet Care?

Pet care continues to evolve, and the expectations surrounding comfort and animal well-being are evolving with it.

For Pet Therapeutics, staying close to the industry helps us keep pace with those changes. The conversations we have with professionals, the feedback we receive from customers, and the innovations we see across the market all help shape the direction of our work.

SuperZoo gave us plenty to think about. Now we’re turning those ideas into action.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing product improvements and new additions inspired by what we heard at SuperZoo. It’s all part of our continued work to create products that support comfort and help reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in pets.
